Thom Pain is just like you, except worse. One night, he finds himself on a stage, in the dark, in a theatre. In the audience are people who, just like him, were born and will die. Thom is going to try to make sense of it all. He's going to try to save his life, to save their life, to save your life - in that order. A camera crew captures the night, as various forces align to produce a reckless and accidentally profound event.

Through interventions into received documentary modes, he creates a surprisingly spirited inner world of an artist imprisoned in space. Maureen is overwhelmed by her tight schedule of business trips and therefore invites her younger sister Titi to help with the upkeep of the home. However, during Maureen's numerous absences, her husband Greg engaged Titi in an intimate relation. Eventually, Titi got pregnant and Greg is insisting that she terminates before his wife gets to find out, something Titi would not budge for. In a desperate race for solutions, Titi is murdered and the mystery surrounding her death remains elusive.
